Swiss Hickory Championship 2011
In August 2011 the first annual Swiss Hickory Championship Days event was held at the Engadin Golf Club in Samedan/St. Moritz, the oldest Golf Course in Switzerland (founded in 1893). One of the highlights of the three-day event was the inaugural Swiss Hickory Championship. The trophy for this prestigious competition was sourced, supplied and engraved by Uppermost.

About Hickory Golf
Hickory golf is a branch of golf in which traditional wood shaft clubs - usually made of hickory - are used. One of the attractions of playing with hickory clubs is that it reintroduces 'feel' to the golf shot. Proponents would also say that it allows golfers to play classic courses using the equipment they were designed for, that is, as they were meant to be played.
